Blessings

Good Morning!  Hi there...

So you mean to tell me we're still here?!  Wow!!  So isn't this like the fourth time in 12 years the world was supposed to end?  Human's are truly strange and peculiar.  I pray unbeliever's will stop casting their trust in "man" and trust God.  God said in his word: NO man, NO, not even the angels know the day nor the time ONLY the father.  Instead of hyperignorantlydramatizing (that's my last word of 2012) dooms day, how about super listening, learning and praising God.  And that is all I'm going to say about that ignorance.

Ok, how about some crafts!

I created this little ditty with no real plan, and for some reason it seems I often times create better without a vision or plan.  I just pull a few, well actually a bunch of materials and just go for it.  Some items are used and most are put back.  Overall, most times the project turns out great.

This plaque was purchased from either Michael, Walmart or the Dollar Tree store (can't remember).  I've purchased so many wooden pieces over time, but most pieces are from Michaels or Dollar Tree.  All of my wooden plaques/boards cost $1.00 or less, which is great and that's why I stock up on them.

The various materials used on this plaque include: Gauze, Molding paste, Gesso, acrylic paint, crackle medium, Pearl and Bling florish, lace, teeny letters, metal pieces, and various inks and pearl pens.  The frame holder is a vintage looking piece I thrifted from a little shop I love in Gatlinburg, TN.

Take an upclose look at the different textures.  Most of the texture is created with the molding paste by intentionally leaving high cliffs when speading the paste.  Softer texture was created by adding gauze while the molding paste is still wet.  You can give the gauze a stiffer and higher appearance by adding molding paste on top of the gauze, then pull it back up leaving it to dry at a peak above the paste.

I enjoyed creating this project and plan on creating more in the near future.  This is a great way to add your own art in your home.

Have a blessed and wonderful Friday.  And please put your faith in Jesus Christ.  There is not a human on this earth that die on a cross for your sins.

Keep Calm and Pray.
